Welcome to May everyone! The merry month of May…
Here come all the jokes. Like the old *NSYNC song “it’s going to be… May”. Are you laughing or rolling your eyes? Either way you were still my friend.
And here’s another one… “MAY” the FORCE be with you”. I could keep going but now it’s time to get serious.
But speaking of FORCE, I am so excited to hear what you think about our May workouts appropriately in titled “The Force”.
You see the FORCE, by definition, is power. I truly believe every single one of you is “a FORCE”.
Therefore our theme for May is “Be the Force”.
I wouldn’t call myself the biggest Star Wars fan, but I’m a huge fan of Yoda.
Let me explain what “the FORCE” means according to Yoda:
The Force is an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds us together. It has been described as an awakening of a certain kind of spirituality.
So while this is obviously a movie, it can also symbolize real life.
To me, the force is exerting your own personal power into living your best life. This is where the magic happens.
So this month, we want to exert our own personal power in all aspects of our life.
The May workouts again, are titled “the Force”. Exert your personal power in making every “rep” intentional. Attack your workouts and get the most out of them by being your best self.
Knowing you can do it. Knowing you can make change.
This is your FORCE!!
In addition, in our members only community, we will discuss positioning yourself the right way in the right circumstances to further your dreams and ambitions.
The force also gives us responsibility and we must make sure we are using it for good.
How many times do you smile at a stranger?
How many times do you help someone out at the gym who looks like they’re struggling? How many times do you stand up for someone? How many times do you hug that friend who needs a little extra attention?
To me, these attributes signify power.
Your ability to influence and impact another person’s life is within you. The only question is, are you going to use YOUR force in your daily life? The time is NOW!
