Where are you from? I grew up in a small town in Alabama. I went to Auburn University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I then went on to graduate school a few years later to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. My husband and I are both from the same small town but we now live in Oregon where he is nearing retirement from the United States Air Force after serving almost 22 years. I work in a busy Pediatric Clinic here in Oregon. We have 3 amazing daughters who are 15, 14 and 9. We are looking forward to moving back to our Southern roots after my husband retires.
What is something about yourself that we might not know? I love cheerleading and I am a volunteer conditioning coach for my daughter’s competitive squad. I love watching these girls work so hard to reach their goals and I hope by teaching them the importance of a healthy lifestyle and setting that example they will continue these habits after high school and beyond.
How long have you been a Savage Girl and why did you join? I first joined CSF about 4 years ago at the recommendation of 2 friends who had competed previously, as I was prepping for my first figure competition. I cancelled my membership once but missed this tribe so much I had to re-join and am so happy I did. This program is the epitome of how the fitness industry should run and how women should encourage each other to be their best!
